About
My name is Mackenzie MacIntosh
I am a Senior at Spartanburg Methodist College, studying Accounting, Finance and Professional Development. I plan to graduate and begin working in the financial accounting field. I am currently enrolled in Applied Technology which focuses on developing my technological skills within the professional environment. In this course, I have the opportunity to carry out a six-week project during my final semester. In my project I will take a group of young girls through a journaling process where I ask them to journal throughout the week and then speak about what they gained from that experience.
What does it mean to be Self Aware?
Self-awareness is the conscious recognition and understanding of one's own thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. It involves introspection and an honest evaluation of personal strengths, weaknesses, values, and motivations. Cultivating self-awareness enables individuals to navigate life with a deeper understanding of themselves, fostering emotional intelligence and improved decision-making. It involves a continuous journey of self-discovery, acknowledging both positive and challenging aspects. By embracing self-awareness, individuals can enhance their relationships, work towards personal growth, and navigate challenges with a greater sense of authenticity and purpose, ultimately leading to a more fulfilling and balanced life.
